The relationship between negative space and a single color is one of my favorite things to play with. When I first did this illustration the figure had a body and a face, but it was too straightforward for me. I began to deconstruct her, balancing abstract elements while still keeping it iconic. The end result is a sensual figure that is seductive without baring it all.
