A play on the phrase "Pro-Peace". I was inspired by my mentor Shepard Fairey's Use of revolutionary women in his his work. From his Mujer Fatal, to his Angela Davis pieces. I strive for my work to be that iconic and impactful. As always I try to subvert the subject matter in a way to get the viewer to interpret what the piece means and attach their own emotions to it.
It is also a wink and a nod to Converges "Jane Doe" Album cover.
Enjoy,
