For all the young people who’s graduations have been cancelled or moved to a digital forum due to Covid 19.
For generations, graduation has been a right of passage for High School and College Students alike. The threshold one crosses into the next phase of their lives. After years of hard work, exams, sleepless nights. To end your school career online, away from your classmates, friends and family is pretty anticlimactic to say the least.
I made this piece as a satire to the situation but also as an observance of the harsh reality we’re living in. I really hope this is a one time occurrence. And not the new normal. So future students graduations don’t follow the same fate as the class of 2020.
Cheers,
-FRJR
