Cry Now, Cry Later

Francisco Reyes Jr. wanted to pay homage to the early generation of Chicanos in LA. Being brown and born here, he has always loved and admired the Pachuco and Cholo heritage of the 1950's and 60's. The woman of that era were beautiful and took a lot of pride in how they looked. Keeping in the tradition of female figures In his work he illustrated these pachucas in blue that's reminiscent of the blue pen drawings drawn by inmates.
