WTF America? 24x40

While at first glance this piece comes off as Anti-American, it is anything but. As a son of immigrants, I am extremely grateful for the opportunities that my family has been afforded by this country. I love my imperfect country but hate the direction it’s going in, so I am channeling that energy through art.

Now more than ever, WTF is something I find myself saying when catching up on the day’s news. What the actual fuck is going on? In Trump’s America, the flag has been adopted to promote nationalism and further the divide between the right and the left. Ideally, the flag should be uniting us all. I’m optimistic things will get better, but until then—WTF?
